Supervision is not a beginner lesson. It is designed for riders who can control a kite, waterstart and ride independently but want a safer first session at Le Morne. We explain the launch area, wind effects, lagoon boundaries, reef zones and the return route before you enter the water.
The team assists with launching and landing, follows the session and can give concise radio guidance. Rescue oversight is included. Bring your own suitable equipment or contact us in advance about gear availability; the final decision to ride depends on the day’s wind, tide and your demonstrated level.
What the briefing covers
Le Morne looks like one bay and rides like four different spots. Where the lagoon stops being waist-deep, where the current runs through the channel, which tide makes Small Reef work and which one leaves the reef too shallow — none of that is visible from the beach.
The briefing puts all of it on a map before you rig up, together with the launch and landing zones and the signal we use if we need you to come in.
Who takes supervision instead of a lesson
Riders who already go upwind and can self-rescue, but are on an unfamiliar reef for the first time. Travellers riding alone, where the difference between a good session and a bad story is whether anybody on shore is watching.
It is the lower-cost way to put a local briefing and rescue cover around a session you ride on your own gear, at your own pace. Ask separately about the outer reef and boat support.
