1. Operator and acceptance
The website is operated by Kiteschool Kitebelles Ltd (BRN C23194572), Mauritius. By using it you agree to these website terms. A service contract is formed only as stated below.
2. Information, availability and prices
Descriptions, wind guidance, schedules and prices are general information and may change. Weather, tide, participant ability and equipment availability affect delivery. A final written quotation must identify the service, date, price, taxes, deposit, cancellation terms and any third-party components before payment.
3. Booking enquiries
Submitting the form, email or WhatsApp message is an enquiry, not acceptance or a confirmed booking. A contract exists only when Kitebelles sends written confirmation of the essential terms and any required deposit is received. Do not travel or incur costs relying only on an automated acknowledgement.
4. Customer information
You must provide accurate contact, experience and safety information, promptly disclose changes, follow instructor directions and ensure minors are represented by a parent or legal guardian. Separate Booking & Safety terms apply to activities.
5. Shop and third-party services
The site publishes an online catalogue of the physical shop at Goods, with prices and stock. There is no online checkout: a listing is an invitation to enquire, not an offer, and a sale is concluded in the shop in La Gaulette or in writing with Kitebelles. Prices are in euro and no VAT is charged, because Kiteschool Kitebelles Ltd is not registered for VAT. Stock and prices are refreshed from the shop system periodically and can be out of date; if a price is shown in error, we will tell you the correct price before you pay and you are free to walk away. Any remote sale, tour component, accommodation, transfer, payment or partner service must be confirmed with its specific supplier and terms. Kitebelles will identify when a third party contracts directly with you.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape personal data, impersonate others or submit unlawful content. We may restrict access needed to protect users and systems.
7. Intellectual property
Website content and the Kitebelles brand are protected by intellectual property law. Personal, non-commercial viewing is allowed. Copying, commercial reuse, framing or removal of rights notices requires permission unless law expressly permits it.
8. External links
Links to WhatsApp, Google, social networks and partners leave our site. We do not control their availability, privacy practices or content. A link is not an endorsement unless expressly stated.
9. Liability and Consumer rights
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Subject to those rights, the website is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability and we are not responsible for indirect loss caused solely by reliance on general website information.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Mauritius law and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Mauritius, except where mandatory consumer law gives you another forum or protection. Please first send complaints to hello@kitebelles.com. We acknowledge a complaint within 5 business days and give a substantive reply within 30 days. The English version prevails only to the extent legally permitted.
